I love to define these still-life with a title: The colors of Beauty, or the beauty of Colors. Of the many product sectors, cosmetics is certainly the one I love the most and in the last 10 years it has led me to work almost exclusively in cosmetics photography. As a photographer specializing in cosmetic photography, I feel really free and let myself be seduced by the beauty of these compositions, transforming or modifying them most of the time into color palettes. The possibility of being able to shoot so closely allows me to see details that usually the eye does not dwell on … that does not see, does not observe.
Photography for cosmetic advertising in Milan
If I don’t have a precise layout, I love to leave my subjects on the set and look at them, touch them, transform them into images, trying to give a different reading, with the idea that under the lights they can come to life and become something else, allowing the color to become the protagonist. For cosmetic advertising photography I try not to advertise the product itself, but to shape it in order to make it memorable and catch the eye of the reader.

Unlike beauty photography , for me, photographing a cosmetic product goes beyond beauty: in those moments I have the opportunity to dream, fantasize with crumbly, creamy or fluid products and transform them into skyscrapers, gigantic waves, lunar landscapes. In fact, many images show my love for Pop Art .
